MJ is a Senior Project Architect at Architecture 101, where she brings a thoughtful, people-first approach to design, a sharp eye for detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to every project she leads. Practicing in the industry since 2009, she holds a Master of Architecture from SCAD and is licensed in Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina, with NCARB certification. Her current work focuses heavily on commercial design and college campus renovations, where she has developed a deep understanding of complex project types and the coordination required to move them successfully from design through construction.

Known for being highly detail-oriented and dependable, MJ is someone the team can count on to dig into the specifics while still keeping the bigger picture in mind. She is also passionate about creating a strong learning environment within the office and takes an active role in mentoring younger designers, sharing knowledge, and helping others grow through the design process.

That same commitment extends into the broader community. MJ is AIA Savannah’s President-Elect for 2027 and is actively involved in youth mentorship through programs such as AIA-K12, STEM career events, and local design workshops. She especially enjoys opportunities that introduce students to architecture and encourage the next generation of designers to see themselves in the profession.

Outside the office, MJ recharges by spending time outdoors with her husband and two little ones, whether that means walking her dog, heading to the beach, or relaxing by the marsh. She is also a devoted Zumba fan, a passionate supporter of Manchester City and the Argentina national football team, and someone who believes a good day is best fueled by morning coffee and an afternoon yerba maté.
